hello everyone. Every Sunday me and my Nan to baking. We bake heaps of things. Were making a double batch of cookies today but we will show you the single recipe 

recipe

135 grams butter/melt butter

 

half a cup of sugar/mix your sugar in  

4 table spoons of condense milk/add condense milk and mix all together 

cup of chocolate chips/mix

1-2 cups of flour/mix

1 teaspoon of baking powder/mix

 

shape it how you want on the tray!

Fluffy panda report!

 Pandas are a bear that lives and China and eats 

Bamboo.

They have big white and black dots on them. They are also very fluffy because they have heaps of fur on them.

They are very cute and funny in the way they act by going on swings and slides. Its funny the way they go on them.

They live with their panda family in China.

Pandas like to climb trees and they also do heaps of things people would do like sun bathing and chilling outside.

My opinion on pandas is that they need more stuff to do instead of eating bamboos all day!

Kia ora everyone. Room five and six have been learning about health and how we are all different brains. Our activity was to compare our brain with a friends brain and put what they like in their half and what you like in your half.

My Lorax activities

kia ora everyone this week we read the Lorax book and we have been doing some lorax activities. We had to do an inside out picture of the lorax and other tasks. The lorax story was about a guy called once ler

who would cut down the trees and the lorax would  be angry. You should not cut down trees cause it hurts the environment and nature. Do you know who the lorax is?

My wonderful mouth

Greeting to you all on the last two days we have been learning about being in gods image and we all chose a part of our body we like. Here is mine:

My mouth I love my mouth because it makes me talk and sing when I walk. My mouth also makes me breathe. I also like my mouth because it helps me eat and drink. I like to kiss my Mum a good night. I also like my mouth so I can practice my whistling.

My trip to ferrymead

 How are you today? Bonsoir (good evening) on the last couple of days we have been learning about how it was in the 1900s. So on Wednesday room 5 and 6 went to a heritage park in ferrymead. We went on the bus there.it was very exciting because i don´t get to go on buss´es much. Stella's poppa Wayne was our group adult. He was very nice. First me,Rose and Stella went to get dressed in how girls got dressed in the 1900s. We wore a dress with a hat what looked like a shower cap. Nixon wore Gray pants, Gray top and a Gray golf hat like all the boys did. We went in the hall and talked about girls before men and what´s gonna happen today.

When my group started we first went to the kings bakery and baked a cookie each it was super fun because i like baking. After that we went to the school to see how its was 100 years ago and the teacher had her cane and straps because that´s what they had in the 1900s to belt kids with. The work we had to do was very interesting because of the ink and metal we had to write with. next we had lunch and played octopus. After that we went to the house and cleaned it. We made the bed, did washing and the dishes. After that we went to look at some post offices and the jail. It was very interesting to look at. Then the tram arrived and we got to go on it for a little ride it was super cool because it was going a cool speed. after that we went on the bus back and had are cookie and went home it was very yummy to eat. Mornina  everyone, on the last couple of days we have been learning about fire wise. We are learning about fire wise because there might be a fire and we will know what to do. Here are the main things to do; GET DOWN, GET LOW and GET OUT FAST!!!! It is our last week doing fire wise so today we got 4 fire fighters to come down to our school and teach us what to do. If you are alone and a fire happens shout ¨FIRE FIRE FIRE¨.Then get out your window and go to your meeting place and meet your family there.We did a practice in the hall with the fire fighters so we know what to do.I liked doing fire wise because we could make posters about it and animations. Thank you Miss esselink for teaching us about fie wise.
